App Description
The Herschel’s World of Economics app is part of the KidsEcon Posters curriculum project. The activities in this app will help students develop the basic knowledge and skills to become more informed decision makers. The short stories in the app feature Herschel, a feisty little dog who thinks he knows a lot about economics, but still has a lot to learn. Herschel and his friends learn from people in their community and apply that knowledge to solve dilemmas related to Herschel’s doggie treat business.
Learning takes place through stories, mini-games and creative poster making.
The content included in the app was designed for learners in upper elementary. This app will complement units of instruction commonly found in social studies, economics, personal finance, or business standards.
