App Description
“I'll be there in 5”... Haven't we heard that before? With Whever this is a thing of the past! Whever gets your friends to your meeting on time and shows you when they will arrive. Fun penalties for being late or rewards for being on schedule provide extra motivation to be on time for everyone.
Using Whever, you no longer have to worry about sharing where you want to meet up with your friends, finding out how to get there or waiting around not knowing when everyone will show up!
With Whever you:
- Get a notification when to leave in order to be on time
- See when everyone will arrive in the “Traveltime Tracker” in your meeting details
- Challenge your friends to be on time with a fun penalty or reward
- Get a notification about how you did and earn points for being on time to increase your punctuality level
- Easily invite email contacts from your contact book
- Fire up Apple navigation directly from the app
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Regarding privacy and location tracking:
We respect your privacy. Users cannot see your actual location, only how long it will take for you to arrive. We only activate your GPS shortly before the meeting to calculate when you need to leave, and when you are going to the meeting to calculate your ETA every couple of minutes. The tracking is automatically shut off when you arrive or when the meeting ends.
