8 Bit is a band formed in the mining triangle that has the purpose of making reinterpretations of game themes of video games of 8 and 16 Bit technology using elements of various musical styles such as samba, funk, reggae, jazz and especially rock , making a sound quality, and being undoubtedly one of the 10 best bands of the genre Game Music of the world. as Neskimos, Minibosses, Vomitron, One Ups

The group works from the perspective of the video game as a cultural element focusing on the proposed instrumental reinterpretations of tracks from games of the 80s and 90s.

The band uses video games in his shows as a form of entertainment and also differentiated so that the public can contextualize the soundtracks to their games. It's not just a show of a band that accompanies a video game, but a show of instrumental music. And even people who are not familiar with this repertoire can appreciate it as well as get to know these games that marked an era.


It all started when guitarists, Andrew and Rodrigo met and conversations through the halls of the university, discovered the taste for musical compositions for video games, especially those that are part of their lives since childhood. Rodrigo had more experience in the area. Played various topics and had already recorded several of his arrangements of games like Contra, Super Mario Bros, Street Fighter II, Altered Beast among others.

The Andrew Moses and Son Luciano brothers had played some issues too, but nothing so serious. However, both had a common desire that had not yet done: put together a band that play the songs of the games that marked their childhood and adolescence. Thus began the history of the group 8 Bit Instrumental, that in a short time has become a famous and recognized his beautiful work in the middle of Video Game Music band.
