About the book:
Joe would much rather stay home than go to school. He doesn't have many friends. Then he meets a gingerbread man who shrinks him to gingerbread size and takes him home to meet his gingerbread parents. Joe shares the wonderful story of these adventures with the other children at school, and suddenly he makes friends. One of the first gingerbread man stories came from North America in the 1890s.

Education doesn’t have to be boring. It should be fun! Pickatale was made to improve children’s reading skills, to help them learn about animals, cultures, historical figures and more, and to have fun learning through reading books.
