About the book:
Patches is a good old horse, the best friend of cowboy Tex. When Tex goes away on a trip Patches is lonely and wanders away from home. Soon he is lost and afraid. But he remembers to follow the rules Tex taught him so that he can stay safe. Soon a deputy finds Patches and he is reunited with Tex. A heartwarming story that reminds children of the importance of knowing what to do if they are lost.

Education doesn’t have to be boring. It should be fun! Pickatale was made to improve children’s reading skills, to help them learn about animals, cultures, historical figures and more, and to have fun learning through reading books.
