App Description

Refocusing lets you adjust the focus of your photos after you capture them!

Inspired by a homework assignment for students in a computer vision class, the Refocusing app allows you to combine multiple images in one “large aperture” image in which you can choose which part of the scene is in focus. Give your iPhone camera SLR-like powers.

How to Use Refocusing:
1. Frame your subject, press the red capture button, and SLIGHTLY JITTER THE CAMERA location while several images are being captured. In most cases, the natural shake of your hand is enough.
2. After images have been captured, TAP ANYWHERE in the image TO RE-FOCUS the scene at that point. The results will be most satisfying in those areas of the image that have interesting features for the algorithm to detect.
3. Press "Save" to SAVE the currently re-focused image to your camera roll.

Technical Specs:
Photos are saved to the camera roll at 1280x720 resolution.
