Update to the mapping background in the radar tile and page to give it a new modern look. Boundaries, roads, cities display on top of radar data to make it easier to view your location on the map.
New look to the current conditions and forecast tile to make it more modern looking and easier for users to read weather data. Changes include a white background, colored icons, and larger text to make data easier to read.
Updated Current Conditions/Forecast Page. Updates include:
-Page opens to the ‘Overview’ tab which gives current conditions, 3 hour hourly forecast, the 7 day daily forecast, and access to the radar page
-The 'Currents' tab will give additional information on humidity percent, cloud cover, visibility, dew point, barometric pressure, and sunrise/sunset times.
-The 'Hourly' tab will give detailed weather information for the next 24 hours on the forecasted weather condition, temperature, pop and wind speed and direction.
-The 'Daily' tab will show the 7-day forecast in a manner that is much more similar to on-air 7-day forecasts with a detailed forecast for the next 7 days/nights below.

App Description

The WJBF Vipir 6 app is a daily weather resource for your smart phone, providing forecasts and current conditions like radar, satellite imagery, temperature and surface winds on a fast and fluid map. An easy-to-use slider lets you scan through the next 24 hours of forecasted conditions, so you can see what the weather will be like at times and locations important to you.

 Weather Alerts: WJBF Viper 6 provides fully automated weather alerts right on your phone, simple to use and more specific than weather sirens, with a lead time of up to 15 minutes before the storm hits. You can set up for sixteen places to be monitored for severe weather, including your smart phone's current location, so you always know what's coming.

Choose to receive any or all of these alert types:

- Special WJBF Vipir 6 alerts:
• Storms Entering Your Area
• Dangerous Storm Approaching
• Twisting Storm Approaching

- National Weather Service storm-based Warning:
• Tornadoes
• Severe Thunderstorms
• Flash Floods

Featuring the Baron Tornado Index: The Baron-exclusive alerts are accompanied by a simple 1-to-10 ranking on the likelihood of a tornado with the approaching storm cell. Called the Baron Tornado Index (BTI), this ranking is more local and accurate than regional alerts.
