The application "Let’s talk American" is developed to help you improve your knowledge of American speaking language and get to know new word combinations, idiomatic expressions which enable to avoid difficulties in communicating.

The application "Let’s talk American" is for practical use and for a wide circle of leaners who wish to perfect their knowledge of everyday American on their own, with further use in communication with people.

The application consists of two sections:
- The main section (Expressions) includes expressions (articles) that are often used in American, on the radio and TV, in social and political journalism and periodicals. In this section all expressions are based on the principle of marked dominant words in alphabetical order where each expression is followed by a typical example in English and Russian. Since a lot of expressions are idiomatic, their Russian equivalents are given by meaning, but not word for word. In case of multiple meaning, the application suggests frequently used variants.
- The additional section (Learned) includes learned word combinations and idiomatic expressions and is created by a user during the process of analyzing and getting acquainted with the application.

The application includes the function of global search in all informational fields and a rapid transition in alphabetical order.
