We hope Plum's Photo Hunt has you and your family exploring the wonders of nature in your own backyard, and beyond! A new update to this exciting, mission-driven app features Plum’s Field Journal. Not only will your child continue to be challenged to photograph awesome things out in nature, but now they will have a way to organize and save their observations all in one place!
And don't forget, nature photos can also be sent to the Plum Landing website - pbskids.org/plumlanding - through the app to be reviewed and possibly featured on the site.
Now stop reading the internet and go Explore Your World, One Mission at a Time!

Get kids exploring outdoors with this free photo app from PBS KIDS! Plum’s Photo Hunt is part of PLUM LANDING, an environmental science media property designed to get kids excited about exploring the wonders of our planet.
In this app, Plum, an alien from the Planet Blorb, sends kids on missions outdoors to photograph awesome things that they find in nature like the weather, plants, shadows and bugs.
• *New Update Feature!* Save pictures to a Field Journal for kids to share with family and friends.
• Take photos that include Plum and her Earthling friends Brad, Clem, Gabi, Cooper and Oliver.
• Send pictures to Plum on the PLUM LANDING website: pbskids.org/plumlanding. A gallery of select photos will be published to the site weekly.
Plum’s Photo Hunt is based on the PBS KIDS web-original PLUM LANDING, developed by WGBH, producers of award-winning kids programs such as ARTHUR, CURIOUS GEORGE and MARTHA SPEAKS. Targeting kids ages 6-9, the app is designed to extend the series’ environmental science curriculum. WGBH worked closely with teachers and advisors to develop Plum’s Photo Hunt.
