Welcome to Simply Crochet’s Granny Square a Week! Each week you will be able to download a granny square for free to add to your collection, including the pattern, a chart, and all the details you need to make each one. We’re starting off with the classic granny square - there may be tons of ways to make one but we’re using our own favourite variation! To follow, we’ll make a different one available each week, using a huge rainbow of gorgeous colour combinations. Granny squares are fun to make and they will expand your crochet skills as you go. Why not make every one and put them all together in a sampler blanket? If you’re a granny square devotee already, you’ll know the possibilities are endless, for making cushions, throws and blankets, pot holders and even garments. Don’t forget you’ll find ideas for how to use them each and every month in Simply Crochet magazine, available on Apple Newsstand.
