* We actually found it wounded in a desert next to a strange upside down cactus. So, it may have been caged at some point in its life. Also, a few times we fed the chicken corn. It eats bugs too, and it doesn't seem to like eating grass. But usually it's a natural, grass-fed, cage-free chicken.
