Stay ahead of the rush-hour crowd with Next Train UK, the only app to give you platform numbers before they appear on the departure board and train times for every National Rail, tram, Underground, DLR and subway station in the UK.

• Real-time departures and arrivals for every National Rail service - see arrival times for every stop on a route
• Journey planning covering the whole of the UK, not just for National Rail but also for Tube, DLR, tram, metro and subway
• PlatformSense: hate waiting around a busy departure board, and the mad rush that follows when the platform number appears? So do we! Now you can get the platform number well before anyone else - other train apps rely on National Rail Enquiries for platform information, but we use up to three different sources to get you platform numbers first. Plus, if a rail departure changes platforms, it'll be highlighted in red.
• 'Next train home' - set up a home station, and you're one tap away from up to five journey plans from your current location to your home station
• Save stations as favourites for quick access, plus the app will show you the nearest three stations to you as soon as you open the app
• Search for stations by name, station code or see all the stations near you
• Pin trains - add train journeys to the app's home screen and follow their progress at any time - pinned trains conveniently disappear from the home screen 24 hours after they finish
• Every journey plan you request is stored for quick access later on (no network connection necessary). The app stores your searches for a month before they're deleted
