Food and wine pairing has never been so clear, accessible and easy to understand. The app gives you a detailed index of hundreds of meal types, showing you the best matches for different wine styles, grape varieties and blends.
A “Do’s & Don’ts” section, along with a “Quick Guide To Food Types” provides valuable and easy to follow information enabling you to discover even more unique food and wine pairings for yourself.
Add your wines to the unique “My Wines” cellar function, along with your views and ratings. The app also allows you to add as many photos as you like to each wine entry, so you can include a photo of the meal you paired the wine with, a photo of the restaurant menu or a copy of a recipe.
Explore the Styles section and gain valuable insights into wine styles and why they are so important in enabling you to approach wines with confidence, like a professional. Discover the grape varieties that belong to each style, as well as their key attributes, flavor profile, regions and food pairing advice.

A bountiful resource with great interface!
This iteration of pocket wine pairing has been such a bountiful resource for me, my partners and friends. It allows us to dive deeper into what we’re drinking, learning and discovering all kinds of fun facts about geography, food pairing, and wine culture around the world. I love the universal searching function (search countries, wines, grapes, notes, etc...) and that you can search for wine choice by food dish or food dish by wine choice. Love and highly recommend this to everyone who is curious and enjoys wine!

Disappointing customer service
I downloaded this app to help me with wine(obviously), because I’m in the business I wanted something I could use as a reference for work. I tried to purchase the app for $3.99, so I could have access to everything. Unfortunately it doesn’t prompt me for purchase, initially I assumed it was a problem on my end ie credit card expired, wrong info, or my settings were off for in app purchases. It wasn’t any of those things. So I contacted Apple thinking something was wrong on their end, after trouble shooting we discovered it wasn’t them either. So I sent an email, over a week ago, to this company to see if something was going on on their end. Crickets. No one has reached out to me about getting this app, and I’m seriously disappointed. Which is unfortunate, as the other reviews have said, it’s a useful tool. But it isn’t all that useful unless you buy it, so I’ll be getting something else.

So sorry to hear of your issue. Unfortunately we have no record of your support request. We pride ourselves on customer service and answer 95% of requests within 24 hours. Our communication with Apple on this issue is still ongoing. As most users have no problem upgrading to the premium version of the app, Apple have suggested that the issue is likely with user’s devices. However, we suspect that the issue may be related to iOS software update 13.5.1 as many developers have reported similar issues with this update. A must for wine lovers
This is a fantastic resource for anyone who enjoys wine or simply wants to know more about it. The developer is helpful and responsive to requests such as adding lesser known grapes to his database. The more I use this app, the more I enjoy and appreciate different wines and food pairings. Highly recommended!
