The objective you need to follow is the same on all levels.

Click the Play button to start the game. A new screen appears and in the window you'll see a diamond. You need to hit this diamond to move onto the next screen level and hit the diamond.

As the levels increase it becomes harder to hit these diamonds with the missles from the cannon.
