Youth Chinese Test (YCT) is a standardized test designed to encourage foreign young students to learn Chinese and improve their Chinese language proficiency. The test is developed by Hanban Confucius Institute – an institution affiliated to the Ministry of Education of China.

The YCT has been carried out in countries such as China, Korea, and Japan, and is gaining recognition as a formal assessment of kids and teenagers' Chinese language skills.

This app contains the set of vocabulary for YCT. With English translation and clear spoken Chinese, it is an ideal application for young Chinese learners studying for the test. This app is also ideal for anyone who wants to learn basic Chinese.

Each Chinese word is provided with an English translation, native speaker recording and writing in both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
