App Description

Quiz my grammar app is for elementary level kids to practice their grammar skills. This app is about learning and practicing Parts of Speech.
Three users can play this quiz game at the same time at their own pace. This will be very useful for 3rd, 4th 5th, 6th and 7th grade kids. This Grammar Quiz is about figuring out all the parts of speech in a given sentence.
There are 8 different quizzes in this app…
1.Nouns: In this quiz, a sentence will be shown. Kids should be able to find out all the nouns that are there in that sentence. For example: If the sentence is, “The book is on the table.” All the nouns in this sentence are “book and table”.
2.Pronouns: In this quiz, a sentence will be shown. Kids should be able to find out all the pronouns that are there in that sentence. For example: If the sentence is, “All these books are mine.” Pronoun in this sentence is “mine”.
3.Verbs: In this quiz, a sentence will be shown. Kids should be able to find out all the verbs that are there in that sentence. For example: If the sentence is, “Kids are playing in the park.” All the verbs in this sentence are “are and playing”.
4.Adjectives: In this quiz, a sentence will be shown. Kids should be able to find out all the adjectives that are there in that sentence. For example: If the sentence is, “The music is soft and soothing” All the nouns in this sentence are “soft and soothing”.
5.Adverb: In this quiz, a sentence will be shown. Kids should be able to find out all the adverbs that are there in that sentence. For example: If the sentence is, “Bring me a glass of water now.” Adverb in this sentence is “now”.
6.Conjunctions: In this quiz, a sentence will be shown. Kids should be able to find out all the conjunctions that are there in that sentence. For example: If the sentence is, “I would enjoy running, only I have this broken leg.” Conjunction in this sentence is “only”.
7.Prepositions: In this quiz, a sentence will be shown. Kids should be able to find out all the prepositions that are there in that sentence. For example: If the sentence is, “The book is on the table.” Preposition in this sentence is “on”.
8.Confusing Words: The part of speech of a word can be changed depending on how it is being used in the sentence. The same word could be a preposition or an adverb based on the usage in the sentence. For example, the word “Around” could be a preposition, adverb or adjective.
In this sentence, it is used as adverb… “Look around and see what you find”.
In this sentence, it is used as adjective… “That store is still around.”
In this sentence, it is used as preposition… “We walked around the football field.”
In this Confusing words quiz, a sentence will be given and a word in that sentence, kids should figure out the part of speech of that word in the given sentence based on its usage.
Test Reports: Three kids can use this app with their own settings and reports. Each test has 15 questions. Each wrong choice will make the player lose 25 points. Each right choice would earn the player 100 points. At the end of the test player would see the final score and know if they passed or failed the test. Reports are saved after finishing every test.
