App Description
Designed to be the focal point of a party, Host a Plot brings role-playing murder mystery parties into the 21st century. Modern technology is used to enhance the face-to-face interaction between participants.
To run a Lost Plots party, the host selects and purchases a plot from our in-app store. Guests join the plot free of charge.
As the host, you cast your friends as characters in a murder mystery event that unfolds over 4 days. Once invited, your friends use their guest code to gain access to your event and discover the characters and background to the plot.
Over the first 3 days, players interact with the victim via text messages, receiving information and questions, the answers to which determine the course of events. At the end of the third day, the murder is committed and, on the fourth day, the suspects gather for the investigation, timed to coincide with your party.
During the investigation, which lasts for approximately 2 hours, players receive messages from the detective to help them solve the murder.
