The Diabetes HealthMate is an easy-to-use mobile app that can help you track your blood sugar readings over time and visually chart how those readings relate to other factors in your life, like your mood, taking your medicines, activity level, and diet. Diabetes HealthMate also has a variety of activities to help you make positive lifestyle choices that can assist you with managing your diabetes every day.
Other helpful features include:
•Reminders—including when to take and enter your blood sugar reading, when to take your medicine, when to refill your prescriptions, and when to exercise
•Daily questions about your mood, medicine, eating habits, and exercise
•A detailed history of your daily blood sugar readings and how you answered each of your daily questions
•A list of activities to help you eat healthier, exercise regularly, and take your medicine as directed by your healthcare provider
•Education about diabetes, risk factors, regular blood sugar testing, the importance of taking medicine daily as directed, blood sugar tracking, and more
•Sharing your diabetes management activities with others
The information you collect with this app may also help you have more productive discussions with your provider. Work with your provider to understand the diabetes management plan that’s right for you.
