Sometimes a parent has an injury or illness that requires hospitalization. How do you help children get through that first experience visiting a parent in the hospital? Your child can join Luca Lashes as he finds out how! This multilingual, educational, interactive, audio app continues the award-winning Luca Lashes series about children’s first experiences. It is available in Chinese, English, French, Italian and Spanish.

This is the eighth app in the series based on Luca Lashes—the brown-eyed boy with the magic eyelashes! In this story, Luca visits his Mommy in the hospital where she has to spend the night. Join Luca in this interactive adventure as he experiences the sights and sounds of a typical hospital. Children will enjoy watching the hospital come alive as they touch different areas of the interactive screen. The app also contains suggestions for parents to help them prepare their children for a potentially difficult experience.

The author wrote the story for children four and under. To help children learn to read, individual words are highlighted as the story is narrated. Luca Lashes LLC promotes early childhood reading by combining original text with terrific artwork and audio narration. Each part provides entertainment and interactive learning opportunities.
