Storm View 2.0 is totally redesigned!!!! -- The first-of-its-kind augmented reality weather app just got better. Storm View lets you peer through those dark impending clouds and has been redesigned from the ground up to leverage iOS' Scene Kit technology. New features include:

-- Important information like the age of the weather data is now always visible
-- Storm View now uses iOS' Map Kit to display the current CONUS weather map
-- Use the map to create and manage your favorites locations with a press of the screen for quick reference
-- More user defined viewing options that let you toggle more colors, the compass rose and storm track direction

With Storm View, you can put yourself in the middle of any weather event any where in the continental US and see it in amazing 3D augmented reality. Just hold up your device like you were taking a video and see the intensity of the weather come to life.

Storm View turns the US National Weather Service's weather radar picture into an 3D model that you can see through your iOS device's camera. And with a range of about 40 miles, you can see what is down the road, day or night.
