App Description
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery — Global Open (PRS GO), a companion journal to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons® flagship publication, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, is an open access, peer reviewed, international journal focusing on global plastic and reconstructive surgery.
PRS GO publishes in all areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including basic science/experimental studies pertinent to the field and also clinical articles on such topics as: breast reconstruction, head and neck surgery, pediatric and craniofacial surgery, hand and microsurgery, wound healing, and cosmetic and aesthetic surgery. Clinical studies, experimental articles, ideas and innovations, and techniques and case reports are also welcome article types. PRS GO serves the international plastic surgery community, including surgeons, care providers, and patients alike.
PRS GO provides authors with an open access venue for publication of those research studies sponsored by private and public funding agencies that require open access publication of study results. PRS GO serves the overall mission of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons®, owner of the journal: it educates and supports plastic surgeons globally to provide the highest quality patient care and maintain professional and ethical standards through education, research, and advocacy.
