App Description

The SNEC T&E App is developed by the Training and Education Department, Singapore National Eye Centre to move towards paperless assessment and feedback; ability to receive timely information and the convenience of doing assessment and giving feedback anytime and anywhere. This App is catered to in-house teachers, faculty and staff.

The app includes the following features:
1. Calendar of Events – includes all teaching activities involving SNEC, for example CME lectures, Subspecialty

2. Courses, Workshops for General Practitioners, Joint meetings with overseas institution, Nursing and Paramedical Training Courses.

3. Cataract Report Card – evaluation of trainee by the trainer in every OT teaching session and allows tracking of progress of individual trainee.

4. Resident Presentation Evaluation Form for Grand Rounds – evaluation of trainee in their presentation skills and performance during weekly grand rounds.

5. Praise and Concern Card – an avenue for all staff to give feedback at own convenience.

6. Feedback on Faculty – a platform where trainees can evaluate faculty on teaching methods and provide suggestions to improve the work process or system.
