The Pickatale Club is proud to introduce your child to The Nightingale. An emperor loves the song of the nightingale in his garden, but wishes to hear its tune all the time. What trouble will he befall the king and the bird? We make reading more exciting with great voices and balanced interactive features.

Book info:
In the forest of an emperor's gardens lives a nightingale, which sings heavenly songs that are as lovely to hear as the emperor's palace is lovely to see. Over time, a mechanical singing bird takes the nightingale's place. When it stops working, the sad and sickly emperor longs for the real nightingale to return. This story is adapted from a fairytale written by Hans Christian Andersen in 1843.
