App Description

Our Community App has been developed to aid resident and business communities alike. With shops, restaurants and pubs disappearing from towns and villages at an ever increasing rate, something has to be done to slow this decline. This is our solution.

For businesses, it not only offers the opportunity to be listed in a local business directory but can also provide information about the business and give contact details to potential customers at the touch of a screen button. Try doing that from an online or paper directory!

For residents, it provides information on upcoming events, offers feeds to local news and, importantly, a directory of local businesses all of whom are instantly contactable via your smartphone.

For both residents and businesses our Community App brings the community together for mutual benefit. For businesses to survive they need customers and customers need local businesses to meet their social and domestic needs – together they forge a stronger local community. Who wants to live in a town or village with no shops, pubs and restaurants?

For each community, we generate a QR code which, once scanned, take the user to a download screen for your local community app. Once downloaded this gives the smartphone user access to all local businesses defined by business type and local news.

The Community App allows users to leave feedback on our Community Wall. This can be such things as good service, good value or even warnings about local difficulties.

Sharing the app with friends, family, colleagues and business contacts makes it more widely available and the wider exposure it has, the greater the benefit to all in the local business and resident community.
