Ceramic Review is the international magazine for contemporary and historical ceramic art and craft. Each issue offers readers a wealth of practical and theoretical features that explore a specific theme, offering discussion, discourse, and new ways of thinking.
In this latest issue, CR261 May/June 2013, we bring together different ceramic approaches to the colour blue: including Jack Doherty’s double-fired copper-blue pots, Sylvian Meschia’s exquisite works that explore Algerian blues and calligraphy, and Caroline Slotte’s use of traditional blue tableware as her ‘material’.
Plus, we feature David Queensberry’s ‘Pride of Place’, Michelle Erickson’s technical approach to reproducing an agateware teapot, Maker’s Notes from our featured artists, Exhibition Reviews, and much more.
