App Description

The iO app is free to use and available to all smartphone users worldwide. iO is an app that allows you to chat with friends, make video calls and send files. And thanks to LiveChat and VideoChat, chatting is now even more fun.

You save on roaming costs when travelling abroad, as you can make unlimited calls to Switzerland free of charge. Your calls and chats are encrypted, and all of your data is stored securely on Swisscom servers in Switzerland.

Your data is for your eyes only:
Your calls and chats are encoded, and all of your data is stored securely in Switzerland. Unlike other apps, we would never take advantage of your address book data.


Note:
- To use iO, you need to have an Internet connection via WLAN or a mobile data network (3G/LTE).
- The Internet connection is not included and usage may incur additional costs.
- An Internet connection via a mobile data network (2G/3G) may result in impaired voice quality, especially at train stations, on trains or in cars.
