Backstory
When the oil ran out, the trouble started. Three hundred years ago, humanity nearly destroyed itself using its most terrible weapons, nuclear, chemical, biological. In a desperate attempt to safeguard the human race, nations of the world built great Under Cities and filled them with as many citizens as possible.

These vaults were meant to last at most 100 years, long enough, so was thought, to outlast any dangers lingering above. Three hundred years on, the fallout, radiation and bio-weapons are toxic enough to pin us down for days.

100 Years came and went, still the surface was too toxic, 200 Years and again, the surface was deemed too dangerous. By then these once safe-havens had become little more than a series of divided groups ruled by petty warlords and terrorists. It was then that the first of us left the Under Cities for the surface.

In the past 300 years, we have made great strides in technology and science, but we continue to be divided by our differences. Long gone are the distinctions of race or national origin, humans have divided into three factions:

The Light - Those with psionic or superhuman abilities
The Steel - Those with cybernetic enhancements
The Human - Everyone else

Now is your time, leave the Under Cities and build your own Foundation, help shape the future of human civilization.
