Sick of sitting through noisy TV ads? With FreeMute you can mute your TV, box or iPhone/iPad/iPod without leaving the comfort of your sofa!

It's easy; simply whistle, snap your fingers or clap your hands and FreeMute will mute the sound for you.

FreeMute currently supports the following devices but more will be coming soon:
- Application iPod from your iPod / iPhone / iPad
- Samsung Smart TV Model 2010 to 2013
- Freebox TV

The recognition quality can vary depending on the selected mode of recognition and sound environment (room size, background noise, etc.).. For best results in noisy environments, try the following recommendations:
- Do not expose the device to direct sound sources
- Position the device closer to the couch than the TV
- Keep the device in a confined place (jacket pocket, under a pillow, etc.)
- Regularly update your application (we often improve recognition thanks to your feedback).

- Automatic volume adjustment based on decibels. The end of sound volume increase during TV advertising!
