Begin practicing your spoken Gaeilge from the get-go.
This app is developed on a voluntary basis by Coláiste Lurgan, Indreabhán, Co. na Gaillimhe.
It sets out to help learners practice conversational Gaeilge while focusing attention on the main difficulties English speaking learners have with the major differences between the English language and Gaeilge.
Version 3.0 contains sample content from all the 11 sections that make up the AbairLeat! course.
New learning materials will be added to the platform on an ongoing basis.
Sections are comprised of a series of lessons and each Lessons consist of a series of tasks/exercises which are designed to be undertaken sequentially.

There are 5 task types.
Green Tasks: Listen, record and compare. Focuses on pronunciation, rhythm and intonation of everyday chitchat as used by native speakers.
Red Tasks: A range of self correcting exercises that reinforce the audio material of each lesson.
Blue Tasks: Learners anticipate and record their own answers to a series of quickfire questions around the lesson content. On completion learners can compare their own answers to suggested correct ones.
Yellow Tasks: Video material relevant to the lesson
Purple Tasks: Additional notes relevant to the lesson
