These are Chinese words and phrases you won't find anywhere else! Not just characters that you forget soon after, but actually words and phrases!

Finally a flashcard app that focuses on common words and key phrases and not just random characters. Showing just characters is not good enough, since they are out of context and difficult to retain to memory when studying them alone. This 1300 Chinese Common Words and Slang App is made of words and phrases only! The only time a character is shown alone is if that character by itself is considered a word on its own. There are 1159 common words that every learner of Chinese must know, and 230 slang words and phrases that are commonly used in daily speaking. All flashcards are given in Traditional and Simplified characters, with pinyin pronunciation. If the character has not been simplified then only one entry is given. Entries have Traditional on the left and Simplified on the right. The goal of this app is to:

-Learn and be able to recognize Chinese characters through word and phrase context- Simplified and Traditional
-Be able to pronounce the characters properly
-Learn and memorize key vocabulary
-Be able to memorize and recognize 2 or more characters together as a set word or phrase to improve reading skills and memory retention.

The common words are words that everyone should know to speak any amount of decent Chinese. They go from the most basic easy to more intermediate. You can learn how to read while you learn vocabulary. Some you may know, and some you may not. Learning Chinese is more of a web rather than a ladder, so it is never really too easy to even study the basics.

The 230 slang entries go all the way to the very advanced fluent level. Some of the slang words or colloquial expressions you may have seen before, but the majority, only the most advanced student of Mandarin Chinese or a native speaker knows. Yet, they are so commonly used that it is imperative to learn these. Even though they are commonly used by Chinese people when speaking to each other, many of these you will not find in any textbook. You can ask any native speaker in China and they will tell you that these are common phrases, yet very few non-Chinese know them.

We have developed the most advanced flashcard system ever created. Designed to have you completely memorize Chinese characters and vocabulary faster and easier than ever before! A set of 8 cards are shown and a card must be answered correctly 4 times in a row to be considered memorized, then that card is taken out of the deck, and then a new card comes in. Anytime a card is answered incorrectly, 4 more times in a row is needed to have it taken out of the deck. This assures total mastery of the information. Where you are in your studies is saved even if you turn off your phone or close the app or switch between Slang and Common Words modes. Only by tapping Reset will the app go back to original settings. All entries are also in an easy to locate Reference Section for your convenience.
