Third Grade Triple Word Match is not just for third graders. With over 400 third-grade level words, it’s perfect for anyone learning to read and identify new vocabulary, even those learning English as a second language.
How it works is simple. When the player starts the game, she sees six circles. The circles on top have a word and underneath are three audio buttons. The player taps the audio buttons (a clear human voice) until she finds the one that matches the word. Then she drags it up to the word.
Scoring is based on how many the player gets right in a row, or “streak.” The “best streak” and “current streak” is displayed at the bottom of the screen. This scoring method encourages healthy competition with others as well as motivates players to beat themselves.
Intuitive enough for any 6- to 9-year-old to pick up and play independently at home or in the classroom, you can’t beat 3rd Grade Triple Word Match’s practicality and ease of use.
