Tenerife is the largest of the seven Canary Islands. Its diverse geography hosts ravines full of endemic nature, laurel forests, mountain villages, world heritage cities, cliffs, black sandy beaches and a traditional cuisine that has become more sophisticated, escorted by the presence of the highest mountain in Spain, the indomitable Teide standing at 3,718 meters high and capped with snow.
All this goes unnoticed by those on a “package holiday” in the south of the island.
