Báo Pháp Luật TP.HCM, từ số lượng phát hành dưới 10.000 tờ/kỳ/tuần từ những ngày đầu thành lập (năm 1990), báo có số lượng tăng đều liên tục và bắt đầu từ ngày 19-3 các số báo tăng kỳ có số lượng phát hành trên dưới 120.000 tờ/kỳ.

Nhận định về tờ báo, nhiều lãnh đạo thành phố ghi nhận: báo Pháp Luật TP.HCM có nội dung phản ánh gần gũi với đời sống người dân, dễ đọc, dễ hiểu, nhiều thông tin và giản dị.

Báo Pháp Luật TP.HCM đã giới thiệu ra mắt chương trình trợ giúp pháp lý miễn phí cho người dân. Đây là một chương trình công tác xã hội được xác định là nhằm phục vụ mọi đối tượng quần chúng, nhất là người nghèo và người hiểu biết pháp luật hạn chế, người yếu thế trong xã hội.
