1863 was the turning point for the Civil War. The Union won major victories at both Gettysburg, the bloodiest battle in US History and Vicksburg. This App combines video presentations, photos and first hand accounts to tell the story of this momentous year. App includes a day by day of account of the war. Sections on all the major battles, naval events and a chronology of events taking place in Washington. Select biographies are also included.
