App Description

Safe-U for Kids is a child safety application to prevent child
abduction and bullying. The app can also help if your child is lost.

As a companion to the Safe-U App, you cannot use this application without downloading the Safe-U App and creating a parental account.

The Safe-U for Kids app can help identify and deter a predator or bully during the act by stealthily recording and instantly uploading the evidence. The app can also get you help from a security network of family members.

Photo and audio recordings are uploaded in real time as evidence, a key feature of the Safe-U KIDS application. All data is stored in encrypted form. Safe-U KIDS application also provides arrival & departure and check-in notifications among specified contacts.

The application requires 3G or better connectivity for real time data upload and WiFi connectivity for accurate arrival & departure notifications.

* Emergency Recording and Notifications
The Safe-U KIDS application records serial photos and continuous audio of your child’s surroundings, all of which are uploaded in real time to your account at our web service. Any collected data or evidence cannot be deleted for two weeks to ensure that no one can force your child to delete any incriminating evidence.

In addition to secure surveillance recording, you will receive emergency notifications. You can make a call on their behalf, come to help them, or send medical help if necessary.

* Emergency calls with location notification to parents
If your child is lost, your child can call you by using the “Call Mommy"
and "Call Daddy" buttons. The app will send you an email with their location.

* Call 911 with parental notification
In case of a life threatening emergency, our application comes with a built-in “Call 911” button which allows your child to switch to a 911 call during the recording process. You also receive a location notification email.

* Check-in Notifications
Your child can let family members and friends know that he or she has reached a destination safely by pressing the "Send My Location" button.

* Arrival and departure notifications
You can set arrival and departure notifications for specific contacts to receive as you enter and exit certain locations such as “home” or ”school”, either by entering an address or marking it on the map.

* Location Tracking
If the 'Location Tracking' feature is activated, the application records the user's geographic location as significant changes occur. Only the user can access this recorded location information and data. Their contacts does not receive continuous location data updates.

* Your child’s privacy is preserved
The Safe-U KIDS application is designed to preserve your child’s privacy. All your recordings and location data is encrypted and securely stored. Your child’s recordings and location data is not shared with anyone but you.

Only you and security contacts you allow can receive your child’s location by using the “Send My Location” feature or the “Arrival and Departure Notifications” feature.
