App Description

Take your driving tours to a whole new level with GyPSy Guide GPS Driving Tours. Commentary plays AUTOMATICALLY as you drive. GyPSy Guide is the most comprehensive and entertaining way to tour yourself in a rental car to Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial. You can read about what other visitors think of GyPSy Guide Oahu commentary on Trip Advisor.

This tour has 35 commentary points and it's free! So why not let GyPSy be your guide as you drive to Pearl Harbor.

This tour guides us directly to Pearl Harbor and the location of the USS Arizona Memorial. Along the route we share stories about Hawaii prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor so you have a fresh background and your visit to the site will be even more meaningful.

Along the return drive back to Waikiki we will share tips and information about some of Hawaii’s favourite cultural activities including Hula Dancing, Luaus and Surfing and even a little extra advice on great dining choices in and around Waikiki.

This app is not just a directory. It provides a guided tour experience. You will feel like a local expert is showing you the best of everything as you drive. GyPSy knows where you are and plays automatically.

Once downloaded, the tour requires no data exchange to operate and activate the commentary points, so you will not have any data costs. Just download the app from your Wi-Fi network at home before you leave or use free Wi-Fi at the airport, your hotel or any other location. We recommend using an auxiliary cable or FM transmitter to make the audio play through the car speakers.

** Important: If you are downloading the tour to an iPad it must be a 3G model or higher. If the iPad is wireless only - it will not automatically activate the commentary which requires GPS function. Any iPhone 3G, 4 or 5 will activate just fine.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
