App Description

The Dancing Jug is James Bronson’s interpretation of a modern pub with traditional values but vibrant and funky twists such as a scaffold backed bar, french apple crates and enlarged artwork adorning the walls.

The pubs mascot and inspiration is Bertie – a cross between the modern pug and the classic Jack Russell. Contracted to appear twice a week and occasionally seen adding some much needed muscle to the door, Bertie is a regular feature at the Jug and a firm favourite with our patrons. Offering an original cocktail list as well as the finest wines, spirits and champagnes such as Absolute and Havana Rum we believe our selection to be amongst the most varied in Bournemouth, all mixed and poured by our cocktail trained staff.

To accompany our drinks selection we also offer  a great food selection of all the latest gastro pub innovations and great value specials including main course meals and lunch time specials including a drink for as little as £5!

For entertainment throughout the week we offer live music from some of the town’s best local talent  including soulful acoustic sets and more lively DJ sets to soundtrack the weekends.

With all the home comfort of a traditional pub but the standards and innovations of a modern bar we look forward to seeing you.
