App Description

Auscultation is performed for examining the heart sounds, breath sounds as well as bowel sounds. Auscultation skill requires a lot of clinical experience and a good listening skill. While auscultating the heart, any abnormal sounds which may include heart murmurs, gallops and heart rate are usually noted.
This application should help students to correctly identify the surface of the chest area where the heart is auscultated. And correctly identify the different heart sounds.
Using a single finger, user can drag the chest piece of the stethoscope to the best location and play the sound to determine the normality and abnormality that has occurred. User can answer the quiz if they wish to check their auscultation skill.

Please use this tool for learning purpose only. Please refer to your books and ask supervisor for real life issues and abnormalities occurring in patients. Hopefully this App will help.
