Learn to Multiply is the first in a series of educational iPad apps from CleverMedia. The goal of our educational apps is to teach subjects to students through innovative interaction.
Many apps merely test you repetitively. They are nothing more than quizzes where you are expected to memorize the answers. With our apps we want to instead teach you how to get the answers.
Learn to Multiply teaches you how to multiple numbers with more than one digit. You will see how to stack the numbers on top of each other and break the problem into very simply one-digit multiplication and addition problems. This is the same method used by almost every school in the world.
You get to practice this standard method with the app’s assistance. You can start with simple problems with two digits on the top and one digit on the bottom. Then you can try harder problems with up to four digits on the top and three on the bottom as you get more comfortable with the method. You can even enter your own numbers for the top and bottom and proceed to solve it step-by-step.
Once you are more confident, you can create a page of sample problems and work through each of them. This will help you prepare for assignments and tests in school.
