A communication app--ACTUALLY A CULTURAL ENHANCEMENT APP--loaded with thousands of simple, practical and culturally-fun phrases and words, the language beginner or traveler will quickly learn how to communicate simple to complex thoughts and needs and translate them into the local language or dialect.
Some phrases are general but the large majority are based on life-experiences which the developers seek to pass onto both new and experienced travelers, language beginners or nearly-fluent speakers. The phrases act to both inform and guide Sayy app users.
Many phrases are embedded with cultural tips and suggestions. Phrases for major cities always help you in finding your way around the town and offer you with interesting historical facts and figures that you can communicate in order to build conversations.
The logic of each foreign language is built into the phrases so that very quickly a Sayy app user can say with confidence: I can communicate in X-number of languages.
An In-App purchase of ONE category opens you to an additional 1100 to 1200 key phrases and between a 400 and 600-word dictionary.
Besides general listings of categories, we also offer more targeted ones for individual cities--LOCATION PHRASES--ex. Rome, Paris, Madrid, Sao Paulo, St. Petersburg, Munich and many more.
THEMED PHRASES cover topics like eating, drinking or exploring food in countries.
EVENT Phrases are designed to help you navigate through events like Oktoberfest, Skiing-trips, Olympics, Running with the Bulls, Carnival and more.
The Sayy app is almost like a VIRTUAL TOUR GUIDE.
All phrases have been recorded by native speakers and can be listened to.
Sayy permits you to check and store favorite phrases that then appear "saved" under the category from whence they came. A favorite word in one language will also automatically be saved in ALL languages in the Sayy app.
You can also build conversations using any of the 1000's of word or phrases--this lets you practice a situation and also prepares your ear for the words that will be spoken by the local.
Send us any phrases or words you think might be missing through our in-app Suggestion page and we will add them to the app.
