Around the time of the 1930s, the legendary Mongolian hero Gada Meilin incited a rebellion against the decadent and corrupt Republic of the Darhan kings that hoped to gain fame through their betrayal of the grasslands, and even sacrificed his young life in order to protect the grasslands and the nomad’s happy way of life. “Gada Meilin” eventually became a beautiful hymn celebrating the Mongolian grasslands.
