App Description
"Is it..." is a high-tech take on the classic party trick Black Magic. Ask your friends to pick any object in the room and claim that your iPhone will be able to find it. As you view various objects in the room with your iPhone, "Is it..." will say whether it is the chosen object or not.
Black Magic is when you have someone pick any object in the room, then invite someone who knows the magic into the room that would have no way of knowing what the person picked. Then you ask your accomplice if it is various objects around the room. Your accomplice will know which object the person picked by it being the next object after you ask about a Black object. Your friends spend hours trying to figure out what sort of signal you are doing to help your accomplice or dissect how you are asking him about the actual object or that it is always the 5th item you ask about. They never seem to figure out the connection between the objects you are asking.
With "Is it..." your iPhone is your accomplice and you are the performer. There are five different modes to let the iPhone know when the selected object is coming up: Dark, Red, Green, Blue, and Light.
"Is it..." is most convincing when you put effort into your performance and tease your friends as they try to guess how the app works. When they ask how it works, your response should always be, "It's magic!"
With a little practice you will get to enjoy watching your friends try to figure out how it works over and over again. Enjoy!
