App Description

The Tell me Baby app is an application that calculates when you are most fertile to conceive a boy or a girl. The application calculates these dates by using your menstruation cycle and cycle length. It even lets you export these dates to your calendar so you can get reminded of these dates.

The application helps to calculate your most fertile days by using the method developed by Dr. Shettles. Dr. Shettles’s research showed that there was a correlation between the moment of conception and the gender of the baby. We have made this method available to you via this handy application.

The Shettles Method

The Tell me Baby application uses the Shettles method developed by biologist Landrum Shettles. He measured the influence of the ph values of the uterus on the spermatozoa and egg.

His research showed that spermatozoa with the Y chromosome have a better chance of reaching the egg in a low ph level environment. Spermatozoa with the X chromosome have a better chance of reaching the egg in an environment with a high ph level. The application uses this information to calculate the best possible time of conception for a boy or a girl.

Because of the nature of conception a 100% guarantee is impossible. But by using Dr. Shettles method the app can calculate when the chance of conception for a certain gender is at it’s highest. A higher chance does not however mean that the result is always guaranteed. It’s fun to be informed and involved while pregnant, and that’s what we hope to facilitate with this application.
