App Description

The La Gente mobile application offers news and information about the diverse Latin@ population in the United States. Established at UCLA in 1971 to cover the Chicano movement, La Gente Newsmagazine has been the voice of the students. Download the app to see highlighted articles from past issues and keep up-to-date with the weekly blog posts. The linked Twitter feed and Miradas photo blog allow access to on-the-go reporting. The app allows readers to interact with the newsmagazine through the Twitter feed or by commenting on any of the articles, blog posts, or photos.
