App Description

Produced by CCI, the official governing body of the CNOR credentialing program, these CNOR Exam Prep Apps are designed to help nurses learn and retain critical information for success on the CNOR exam.

All questions in the apps have been developed by subject matter experts and scrupulously checked against current clinical practice standards. The materials cover all nine of CNOR exam domains, or subject areas, and include an up-to-date reference and evidence-based rationale on the flashcards. The references are the same ones as used for the actual CNOR exam.

CCI recommends that these products be used as an assessment tool to evaluate strengths and weaknesses in the subject areas covered on the exam. The questions found in these apps will NOT appear on the actual CNOR exam. It is of no use to memorize these questions. The intent of the Apps is to give users a feel for the types of questions that a candidate will see on the CNOR exam. A key for success on the CNOR exam is to develop and apply critical thinking skills to perioperative clinical situations. Candidates will be asked to apply their knowledge, background and skills in order to demonstrate their perioperative clinical competencies.

CNOR FLASHCARDS
Two sets of CNOR flashcards with 100 unique questions in each set. Each flashcard features a question on the "front" and a rationale and current reference on the "back". All CNOR exam subjects are covered. Test your overall knowledge by answering randomly generated questions from all domains or target areas of weakness by focusing on a specific domain. These Apps also includes analytics so users can measure and monitor their progress. These analytics allow users to review their quiz history and statistics, like their Mastered questions. Users will also discover their category strengths and weaknesses.

CNOR PRACTICE EXAM
117 unique questions with a current reference and rationale covering all CNOR exam subjects. While this App is designed to simulate taking the CNOR exam, it has an enhanced learning feature as the correct answer with rationale and current reference are revealed post-test. Detailed analytics help the user assess category strength and weaknesses with statistics, strengths by category and quiz history functionality.

HOW TO USE FLASHCARDS AND PRACTICE TESTS
Many people like to use sample questions and tests as part of their studying routine. The purposes of sample test questions are twofold: to provide an experience similar to taking the actual CNOR exam, and to evaluate our knowledge of a particular topic.These multiple-choice questions are comparable in form and content to the types of questions on the actual CNOR certification exam. Taking practice tests should not be a substitute for studying.

For all questions, look up the rationale in your reference books, whether you answered the question correctly or not. Active involvement in the learning process means you will be more likely to remember the content and provides the “why” that you can then apply to similar questions.
