■Katsushika Hokusai(1760–1849)
Katsushika Hokusai was one of the greatest Ukiyoe artists in Edo period in Japan.He began painting from around the age of six, and he never stopped painting till he died at the age of 89. In his later life, he called himself "The old man mad about art", and said "If I could live another five years, I could be a real painter."
"Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji" is one of his most famous works. It was not only popular in Japan, but also had a great impact on Western artists, especially French Impressionists in the late 19th century. "Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji" actually consists of 46 prints. The first 36 prints of Mt. Fuji sold very well, and due to their popularity, he was asked to add ten more prints to the original 36 prints.

■What is this app?
This app consists of 46 pictures. Each picture is divided into 9 tiles. One of them is a blank tile, and you slide the rest 8 tiles and get them arranged into an original picture. When you have finished arranging, the blank tile will turn into the original part of the picture. After finishing a puzzle, you can appreciate different expressions of Mt. Fuji Hokusai painted.
Also, you will focus on the details of the pictures, which help you notice what you otherwise would overlook.

■How to start
Startup screen is Mt.Fuji map, which shows Mt.Fuji and its surrounding area. The map is marked up with numbers.
When you first visit this scene, there is only a number, "1".
Every time you have finished a puzzle, a new number will be added sequently.
You can go on solving a new puzzle until you have reached the last one, the 46th View of Fuji.
Besides, you can choose any displayed number, which means the puzzles you have finished are all waiting for you to try again all the time.
For your information, each number on the map is the location Hokusai painted Mt.Fuji. So while you enjoy solving these puzzles, you can follow in the footsteps of Hokusai.

■Once you have finished a puzzle
When you finish solving a puzzle, tap "Return" button. You can return to the startup screen, then you can choose another number and try another puzzle.

■When you find a puzzle too difficult to solve
If you turn "Number" switch on, guide-number is displayed on each tile.

■When you want to restart the game
If you tap "Reset" button, all the data is reset, and you can restart this app.

This app size is 32.6MB. We will recommend download in the Wi-fi environment.
