Solving polynomial equations is a tedious task either using an algebraic solution or a numerical one.
Poly Solver finds the roots (real and complex) of most polynomial equations of degree up to 20 in a fraction of a second.
It's easy to use. Enter the coefficients of the polynomial, separated by commas, and tap the zipper.

To solve 2x-8=0, type 2,±8 or 2,8±
To solve x²-x-1=0, type 1,±1,±1
To solve x³+6x-20=0, type 1,0,6,±20 or 1,,6,±20
To solve x⁴+3x²-4x=0, type 1,0,3,±4,0 or 1,,3,±4,
