App Description

Provides you with the definition for your diagnostic trouble code when your vehicle check engine light is on.

Throw away your toolbox because you won’t need it for this tool. The Mac Tools OBD II TaskMobile Lite App
provides you with the DTC (diagnostic trouble code) definition. Did you know there are around 5000 of those codes and this app will identify them.

Just enter your code (you need a code reader or scan tool to retrieve it or a technician may have told you the code) in the OBD II TaskMobile Lite and hit “Check Code”. Instantly, your code definition will be retrieved. This little gem also keeps a history of your codes so you don’t have to.

Some really techie stuff for code geeks. TaskMobile Lite defines all these types of codes:
• Powertrain Codes - P0XXX, P2XXX, P34xxx-39XXX
• Chassis Codes - C0XXX, C3XXX
• Body Codes - B0xxx
• Network Communication Codes - U0XXX, U3XXX

FAQ:
Q: How do I know if my car is OBD II?
A: It is if it is 1996 or newer.

Q: My “Check Engine Light” is on. What does that mean?
A: When your CEL (check engine light) is illuminated it is telling you that you have a message from your car’s computer in the form of a code. Most codes once pulled from your car look something like this: P0305, P0127, P0264, etc. Once you have this code TaskMobile Lite can identify it for you.

Q: Will the OBD II TaskMobile Lite pull the code from my car?
A: No, it can’t. But, sounds like a good idea for a future upgrade! A scan tool or code reader will pull the code.
