Carlisle Enterprises introduces your fully- guided GPS Audio Adventure Tour of the Great Ocean Road – we call it The Drive of Your Life. Using the GPS facility in the iPhone or the iPad 3G, audio and images will trigger at prime locations to provide you with your own personal tour guide for the Great Ocean Road.
The tour highlights the many unique experiences you can expect to enjoy on your visit to the Great Ocean Road, fully supported by turn- by- turn instructions for the entire tour route. It also allows you to make your own discoveries that may have remained hidden without the reassurance and information that our product delivers.
You will hear featured interviews from leading regional tourist operators throughout the audio commentary who will pass on valuable first-hand information about the must-do experiences along the touring route. It also offers personally researched accommodation and dining options to help you locate quality facilities on your journey. These segments are designed to add enormously to your overall visitor experience.
The app is optimised to support the MetroView turn- by- turn navigation app, available separately in the app store. MetroView does not require an internet connection. All map data is stored locally in the device. MetroView is Australia’s number 1 for iPod touch, iPhone and iPad. High quality Australian- voiced instructions will guide you through the tour of the Great Ocean Road. Once the tour is complete, MetroView will also provide you with an on- going Australia- wide navigation solution with no on further costs.
The app includes a Google map view. This function will serve as a guide only, to provide a visual indication of the next tour waypoint. Google maps require a continual internet connection and associated data costs will apply.

THIS APP IS DESIGNED FOR USERS TRAVELLING THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION ONLY.
