★ Help Little Elf Percival collect hearts and escape! ★
In Heartlight, your task is to guide the little elf Percival through 70 levels, each of which is full of various hazards. The exit door in each level can only be unlocked when Percival collects all the hearts in that level. Much of the fun lies in figuring out how the different hazards behave and react. Experimentation is key to winning in this game, and you will need reflexes as well as wits to survive. Many later levels can only be solved by precise timing and careful planning. Heartlight has a gradual increase in difficulty to help you practice.
"maybe it isn't a purely original concept, but Heartlight has a great personality and charm all its own. Maybe it's the music, maybe it's our determined hero Percival, maybe it's the round green boulders -- it just has great character that grabs me in a way the other type-games don't. Give it a try." ----PsychoDad
Heartlight is a puzzle game originally developed by Janusz Pelc for 8-bit Atari. The game is set up on a 12x20-square grid. The object of the game is to help Percival, the elf character you guide with your keyboard, collect all the hearts on each level and get to the door. Different objects with unique characteristics aim to make reaching this goal more complex.
